a great sale, coupons and a red pen.....

$56 and change. That's what I spent on the groceries this past weekend. That's $6 over my budgeted amount but I am not gonna quibble.

For my $56 I got....
6 rolls Bounty paper towels
2 things of aluminum foil
2 things of plastic wrap
9 -4 packs of batteries
4 bags of Quakes
4 togo packs of Nutter Butters
2 bottles of Kens salad dressing
1 bag sauerkraut
3 yogurt drinks
3 containers Bryers ice cream
3 gallons of poland springs water
6 gallons of Arizona Tea
5 cans of tuna fish
2 boxes of ice cream cones
3 Gallons of Turkey Hill green tea
1 head of lettuce
1 bottle chocolate syrup
12 pounds of chicken quarters
1 gallon of milk
2 jar of mayo
5 breakstone cottage cheese doubles


Normally just the tea, batteries and chicken would be that much if not more. The store near me has this amazing sale going on. Most of the stuff was either 77 cents or 1.77 and the chicken was 37 cents a pound. No way could I pass this sale up.
